TCU10 “LABEL-TREAT” series: corona treatments for labels and narrow films

One-sided corona system for increasing the wettability of metalised and insulating flexible materials on machines for labels and narrow webs.

Each system consists of a TCU10 “LABEL-TREAT” one-sided discharge units, a GET electronic power generator, the HV transformer and an ozone extraction system.

The discharge station is designed to simplify all the most common use and maintenance operations: material insertion, air-gap calibration, and electrode cleaning.

Elettrodi:
• Up to 4 ceramic electrodes;
• Segregated into a protective extractable drawer.

Treatment roller:
• Statically and dynamically balanced;
• Stainless steel.

Ozone suction system:
• Projected to extract the produced ozone
• Designed to keep the discharge electrodes well cooled and very clean.

Safety, sensors, and signals:
• Emergency stops.
• Electrodes extractable drawer monitored by n°1 magnetic safety sensor.
• Dual channel safety circuits.
• Dedicated sensors for controlling the rotation of the treatment roller and the extraction flow.
• Signals: Acoustic buzzer, 3-colour light column.

Corona discharge unit

The TCU10 “LABEL-TREAT” is our one-sided corona discharge station for label machines and narrow webs, insulating and metalised.

It is equipped with up to n°4 ceramic electrodes, installed into an extractable drawer which eases the processes of maintenance and material insertion.

It has n°2 guide rolls (intlet + outlet) that guarantee a correct wrapping of the ø 100 mm inox roll.

The extremelly compact dimensions, the two fixing options (side or base) and the HV and ozone extraction side connections allow an easy implementation on any line.
