AO series

AO SERIES: multi-stage low-temperature catalytic ozone filters

What it is:
It is a multi-stage catalytic ozone filter that operates at room temperature. It does not require preheating (except at extremely low ambient temperatures).

Use:
It is used to convert ozone (O3), produced during the corona process, into oxygen (O2), preventing its release into the environment.

Composition:
The external stainless steel structure is equipped with:

• Inlet and outlet ports (plus possible ø adapters);
• Base with forklift channels;
Differential pressure gauge;
• Extraction fan (when necessary).

Filtering is achieved by the combined action of the polyester pre-filter and two other stages with high-efficiency pre-catalysts and catalyst.

Functioning:
The ozone produced during the corona treatment process, which is harmful to human health, when channeled into the AO filter, creates a chemical reaction with the catalysts and, this, drastically reduces the ozone level, bringing it back within the specified limits.

Installation:
No wiring is needed.
It must be installed downstream the corona unit, before the exhaust air outlet. An exhaust fan must be installed between the filter outlet and the exhaust air outlet.
Depending on the specific case, the original corona treatment fan may be adequate for this purpose; alternatively, an additional fan may be required and provided.

The AO4.2 is our multistage low-temperature catalytic ozone filter designed to reduce ozone emissions from corona treatments with air flow rates up to 1200 m³/h.

The idea behind the AO4.2 is the understanding that reducing emissions, which is of fundamental importance for our environment and human health, should not weigh too heavily on the manufacturer.

For this reason, we created the AO4.2, a high-performance ozone filter whose simple and efficient design allows for reduced costs and dimensions.
